Where to Eat Fresh Fish in Portorož?
Portorož has many restaurants where you can eat fresh fish.
1. Ribja kantina Restaurant
This restaurant is an open, friendly place that offers the freshest fish and seafood dishes. It is very popular and therefore the fluctuation of guests is very fast, so their ingredients are always as fresh as they can be. They serve fish of all shapes and sizes prepared in many delicious ways, and their specialty are homemade tartars and capriccios. For the colder days, we highly recommend their fish soups in a bread bowl. They are open every day, all season
In the heart of Portorož, right next to the sandy beaches is this restaurant with a terrace that resembles heaven, especially while watching the sunset. Their ambient is one thing, but the food is far from disappointing – they offer delicious pastas, salads and not to forget, everyday fresh fish and seafood. Their wine list is especially wide.
3. Veduta Restaurant
Located in the middle of cape Bernardin, that is named after a monastery church from 15th century. They have a big terrace that overviews the sea in all of its glory. You can enjoy fish and meat dishes, but if you eat here, it would be a shame to miss their grilled food, because it is absolutely delicious.
4. Jadro Restaurant
Another restaurant with a great location, big terrace that is overlooking the sea and a very cute and cosy ambient. They offer many delicious seafood options, but have a especially wide range of clams and mussels.
5. Kantina Rikardo Restaurant
Kantina Rikardo is a restaurant that offers Istrian dishes, as many meat, as fish and seafood dishes, predominantly grilled. They serve great bruschetta, tartars and other tasty entrées, which all are a great starter or a light lunch idea.
